Product use

DABCO DC1 is a delayed strong gel catalyst for flexible polyurethane molded foams, especially for NVH applications, and for polyurethane molding materials;

DABCO DC1 can be used alone or as an auxiliary catalyst together with other amine catalysts. When used as an auxiliary catalyst, there will be no significant change in the early stage, but it will shorten the aging time in the later stage.

Description.

DABCO DC1 catalyst is a delayed catalyst for polyurethane foaming that promotes the reaction of urethanes (polyols-isocyanates).DABCO DC1 catalyst delays polyurethane foaming while maintaining a strong back-end cure, and is particularly suited to polyurethane foamed molded foams for NVH applications. DABCO DC5LE catalysts can be used in applications requiring low or no amine emissions.

Characteristics

Delayed catalyzed polyurethane foaming reaction, increase fluidity

Wide range of foaming operation processes

Suitable for all kinds of TDI, T/M, MT and MDI systems as well as CPU elastomers and CASE fields.

Recommendations for use.

DABCO DC1 catalysts can be used in flexible polyurethane foams, rigid foams and castable polyurethane CPU applications and are extremely flexible in terms of system-specific reaction selectivity. Due to its versatility, the level of product usage depends on the specific processing needs and application.

DABCO DC1 catalysts can be used in combination with DABCO DC2 catalysts, where the usage level needs to be adjusted to meet specific reactivity requirements. In existing systems, low levels of DABCO DC1 catalyst can also be used as a co-catalyst, which enhances the cure of the system but does not significantly alter the front end reaction due to its delayed activity.

Shelf Life.

Keep unopened for two years

Storage and Transportation:

Should be kept sealed and stored in a dry, cool and ventilated warehouse

Packaging:

200KG/drum Storage: it is recommended to store in dry and cool area with proper ventilation. Please fasten the packaging cover as soon as possible after the original packaging to prevent the mixing of other substances such as moisture and other substances that may affect the product performance. Store in a cool and dry place, keep the container sealed and avoid contact with oxides. Do not inhale dust and avoid contact with skin and mucous membranes. Smoking, eating and drinking are prohibited in the workplace. After work, shower and change clothes. Store contaminated clothing separately and wash before use. Maintain good hygiene practices. The company recommends that all polyurethane catalysts be stored in a dry, cool and properly ventilated area. All storage containers must be well sealed to avoid contact with water or other affected substances, which may alter the performance of the product in use. The storage temperature is 10°C to 30°C. Lower or higher temperatures are inappropriate and should be avoided if possible.
