Usage

The performance of Dow Corning 57 additive should be tested before production. The dosage of the product depends on the paint type, resin system, solid content and other factors. The general concentration is 0.01-0.5%

Mixing of additives

Dow Corning 57 Additive (see Handling Precautions) is generally added during the final dilution and color matching stages, and after the paint has been discharged from the production facility

Dilution of additives

Dow Corning 57 Additive can be diluted with isopropyl alcohol or water when it needs to be diluted, especially when the amount is very small

Recoat

The surface of the coating containing Dow Corning 57 additive generally does not need to be treated. If recoating is difficult, the surface can be washed with a solvent, and then scrubbed with wet sand containing 1% washing solution
